Wax Worm Care SheetStore worms between 55F - 60F. Most typical refrigerators are too cold to store them in. Instead, use a cool basement, garage floor, closet, or some other cooler place in your house to store them. Doing this will allow the worms to live for up to 2 weeks if kept at proper temperatures. Wax worms require little feeding and should NOT be refrigerated. When purchased, our worms will generally be a small to medium size. The worms will also sometimes spin webbing throughout the medium. Simply pick through and pull out the worms as needed. Once mature, some of the worms will move to the top of the container to pupate. If desired, you can allow the wax worm to pupate into a moth. This moth is also edible by your reptile. Moisture 62.6% Protein 15.8% Fat 20.4% Ash 0.8% Other 0.4%
